About the Artist
Michelle Fitzpatrick is a self-taught Miami-based artist whose work is shaped by a lifetime of movement and cultural immersion. Having grown up overseas in cities such as Bogotá, Brussels, Nairobi, Asunción, and Lima, she has absorbed a world of artistic influence, allowing these experiences to weave themselves into her creative process.
Her work is a dialogue between intuition and experimentation, embracing the fluidity of expressionism and the dreamlike qualities of surrealism. With a deep appreciation for art in all its forms, she spent years studying paintings and artistic traditions from around the globe—waiting, observing, and absorbing—until the moment arrived to fully unleash her creative visions onto canvas.
Through her art, Michelle seeks to transcend language and borders, channeling unseen frequencies and emotions into visual form. Each piece is an invitation to step beyond the tangible world and into something more mysterious, more fluid—an unspoken realm waiting to be felt.
About the Process
Every piece of art you see here today is the result of experimentation, intuition, and faith in the creative process. I seldom approach a canvas with a plan—at most, a vague impression, a fleeting whisper of an idea. But like a frequency tuning itself into clarity, that idea inevitably undergoes a complete metamorphosis, shifting and evolving through countless layers until something more profound begins to emerge.
Some works take a few days, others years. My process is cyclical; I move between multiple paintings at once, allowing layers to dry, revisiting them as time and instinct dictate. This rhythm—this interplay between creation and patience—mirrors the way frequencies resonate through unseen dimensions, gradually revealing harmonies that were once imperceptible. Each painting is an echo of something beyond conscious thought, a translation of energies and emotions from an unspoken realm into color and form.
I do not see myself as merely an artist, but as a conduit for something greater than myself. My role is to listen, to receive, and to bring forth the unseen, the unheard; the frequencies that exist beyond words.
